Green vegetables are not only rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber. They are a great way to kick off your weight loss efforts for the summer.

The fiber in Green vegetables takes a lot of work from your digestive system to process which helps you burn calories. They also produce enzymes to break fat into energy. By eating green vegetables you’re burning fat while eating!

SO WHATS IN EM?

Well, green veggies contain carotenoids, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, iron, zinc, niacin, folic acid, calcium, copper, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium, the list goes on and on, all of these vitamins and minerals and some I didn’t mention are essential for helping the body run efficiently.

These antioxidants protect against breast cancer, prostate cancer, and stomach cancer, due to their high carotenoid content.

Other than their fat-burning effects vegetables such as spinach contain 13 various nutrients that are antioxidant and anticancer substances.

Countless research shows that green vegetables can help ward off cancer cells such as skin, breast, and prostate cancers.

Antioxidants such as vitamins A and C function together to protect against free radicals that destroy our body’s cells.

Also, Vitamin C and A fight against inflammation. These Vitamins have been proven to speed up the metabolic rate for a fat-burning boost.

Thiamin, Niacin, and riboflavin another essential nutrient in green vegetables assist in turning carbs and fats into energy. Niacin also creates energy from proteins, oils, and carbs, plus it maintains cholesterol levels and helps with cell respiration.

BELLY FAT

One of the biggest reasons that belly fat is so hard to get rid of is the estrogenic compounds that are in our diet.

These compounds (phytoestrogens and xenoestrogens) come from pesticides, herbicides, and hormones that are sprayed onto our fruit, vegetables, and grains, they are also fed to the animals that we eat.
